Leslie Giesler


Leslie earned her Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Nevada Reno. She is a native Las Vegan and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and anything to do with the outdoors. Leslie began her clinical fellowship at the Speech Therapy Center of Excellence after completing her degree in June of 2016. Prior to completing her degree, she worked as an applied behavior analyst for children with autism. She has a passion for working with children; however, she enjoys working with individuals of all ages with a variety of speech and language disorders. She has had experience with the evaluation and treatment of individuals with the following: articulation and phonology, expressive and receptive language, augmentative and alternative communication,cognitive impairments, pragmatic and social communication, literacy, voice disorders, Parkinson therapy, and aphasia. She hopes to pursue a specialty in working with children with feeding disorders. Leslie is also a certified Interactive Metronome (IM) provider.
