Frances Hayden
M.ED., CCC-SLP
Frances received her Master of Education in Speech-Language Pathology from Nevada State University in Henderson. She completed internships in clinic and home health settings, working with all stages of life from infancy through geriatric. Prior to that she spent almost 10 years in the school setting.
Frances enjoys treating voice disorders and working with adults who are recovering from a brain injury, such as stroke or traumatic brain injury, as well as working with speech sound disorders, AAC, and fluency. She is certified in Speak Out! for patients with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders and has completed training for gestalt language processing and tracheotomies. She is a believer in providing family education in addition to patient training since true success requires continuing to address learned skills in the home.
Outside of work Frances enjoys spending time with her husband and her pets, as well as reading, traveling, hiking, off-roading, and archery. She is an active volunteer at her church and enjoys helping with other service projects as she can.
