Stacy Kisor, co-owner of Speech Therapy Center of Excellence, was born and raised in Indiana. Stacy began working at Speech Therapy Center of Excellence in 2018. She completed her undergraduate studies through Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in 2010 and her graduate studies at the University of Oregon in 2012 where she received a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. Stacy then worked in Washington state at a skilled nursing facility with young adults through geriatric patients from 2012 to 2018 before joining the Speech Therapy Center of Excellence where she works with children through geriatrics. 

Stacy is passionate about treating various disorders in children and adults. Given her background and extensive knowledge, she is proficient in treating disorders of swallowing, cognition, voice, expressive/receptive language disorders, and phonological disorders. She also has knowledge in obtaining and providing training with various AAC devices for adults and children. In addition, Stacy is a certified provider for SPEAK OUT! and LOUD CROWD through the Parkinson’s Voice Project and for McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program. She has also completed training for MBSImP and performs Modified Barium Swallow Studies.

As co-owner, Stacy assists in maintaining an open office environment and creating opportunities for therapists to learn and grow their skill sets. Stacy also oversees placement of clinical graduate students and externs from universities across the U.S. 

Stacy enjoys spending her free time with her husband and dog taking trips and going on hikes. She also enjoys reading, movies, and visiting with friends and family.
